At first hearing about these things I, like many others, thought "how good can a $75 guitar be?"; ... then I got one. I'll tell you, good strings, great neck, and great body/finish. I played it without an amp at first and couldn't believe the action on it. Then I plugged it in. Basically, it sounds just like a Fender Strat, only it feels a little nicer and plays a little better. I also then plugged it into my V-Amp 2 ... My GOD, it's freakin' sa-weet! I HIGHLY recommend it for a guitar for open mic nights, kids and beginners, intermediate players, or just to mess around with. "If you're willing to spend $300 on a guitar, consider buying a few of these. Hell, you could get 4 of them. One in each color. For the money, there's nothing better available.
