I was given a movie last night and it's on my cruzer micro. When I plugged it into the usb port a window I haven't seen before popped up asking if I wanted to Sync the Media Player to the cruzer micro. Well I have never used the sync feature before so I told it yeah go ahead just to see what it would do. So apparently it copied a lot of the music off my hard drive onto the cruzer.
Where available in the Sync window the WMP displays the album art along with the songs associated with that album.
Here is my question. How does the windows media player decide which art to display and is there a way to edit the art the Sync window displays?
I ask because something unexpected showed up, as you may be able to see in the screen shot below.
I thought is was pretty funny and it's a pretty cool pic but I was wondering just how in the fuck that happened?
The picture of Sasha isn't even on the same drive as the music file, and it doesn't seem to be embedded in the music file either. I have no clue why it shows up here in the WMP, any ideas?
Of all the half million pictures stored on here I'm not complaining, it could be worse. LOL I just don't get it.

Yeah, this is meant for Technical Support .... Basically, if you are with internet support WMP goes and gets the images from a database online ... It them populates the album info, the song info, the song images and/or the album images ...
They just started this recently, it threw me at first as well ...
No it doesn't qualify as tech support because it's not really a problem. I considered it more of a General Bullshit question. It was an interesting circumstance that photo was somehow chosen.
I know how the WMP is supposed to grab data when available to fill in the blanks. That doesn't even start to explain why it grabbed THAT picture from among thousands.
something like that... if memory serves, I believe there is a way to point WMP to a specific website to obtain the information.... perhaps go diving through your settings and presets.... then make it go to like, music.yahoo.com or something...
