I am finally letting go of my baby, after a few decades and many Saabs in between. Here is the no bullshit sales pitch for TSi members only.
The Bad: NEEDS: Exhaust from manifold back, Regulator for alternator. Interior is partially stripped: no head liner. Seats replaced with grey cloth seats (as opposed to leather) from a 4-door Saab. Rust is starting on the passenger side front quarter panel. No Radio or front speakers. Rear hatch lock is broken. Motor for sun roof not functioning. AC removed for speed/power but unit comes with the car (just needs to be retrofitted)
The Good: BRAND NEW: Goodyear tires (color spots still on them = $400), Rotors, Brake pads, front calipers, brake master and drum. Clutch, alternator, all new belts, Radiator replaced with all new hoses and fans, and new water pump. Other stuff: Replaced valve gasket 2 years ago, upgraded SPG9 20psi Turbo, gas shocks, SPG springs - fronts chopped 1.5", ground effects package, Alloy SPG Rims, K&N air filter, rebuilt 5 speed transmission, and the best feature for a race fan: the Dashboard is signed and dated on the passenger side by 2 of the greatest rally racers of all time - Eric Carlson, and Simo Limpinon (from a convention in 2001).
This is one of those cars that can snap your neck on shifting and hit 90mph in 3rd gear. She just needs ALOT of TLC and I am not in a position to do it anymore. I am a long time member (12+ years) of the Saab Network and have many extra parts and resources for whomever wants to fix this car up.
Asking $1000 or will consider a worthwile trade (Motorcycles, Boats, Laptops, etc.) Will throw in a Kenwood 40x4 CD + 2 100wt front speakers, 500wt Pioneer 4 channel amp + 550 wt Blaupunk 10" sub (mounted) for an extra $200

what's your best estimate on the cost of repairs that you've mentioned?
Full sport exhaust will be $200 - $250, OEM cheaper. Regulator or whole new alternator will be less then $70. I would recomend replacing the battery cables which is another $25, which reminds me that I forgot the battery is only 6 months old.
I will be posting pictures tomorrow (thursday) may 29th

I've seen the sluts of Kingsland. This intrigues me. Pick one out and keep her in reserve just incase I don't want to just keel over and die after 12-14 hours of driving...
