First, let me say that if you intend to read the book and don't want it ruined, leave now as this thread will eventually contain details.
Second, if you don't like to books, have never read the books, and think they are a complete waste of time, you can get the fuck out! This thread is not for defending this series to a bunch of closed mind'd nazi's who can't see that this is an excellent story.
Third, depend'n on how well this thread goes will depend on how much it will encompass of the other books but for now lets keep it to this one.
Now, having just spent 22 hours strait read'n this thing cover to cover, I'm a bit tired. But here is my view on the book:
Over all it has lived up to the expectations of the series, and has given a lot of information to setup for the next, and possably final, book in the set.
The plot twists and shifty manner of many of the characters makes for a great read, and you would never have guess'd who the "Half Blood Prince" was until they were reveal'd.
All in all I consider this to be the best book in the set as it gives the most detail about the story as a whole than any of the other books. By the time I closed the book I understood so much better the reasons why Harry was, and is, both bless'd and cursed with this lot in life!
(I hope you will notice that I have not gone into detail because I would like to give a good ammount of time for others to read the book before throw'n out major crush'n facts.)
GO TO FORGOT3N'S THREAD AND DOWNLOAD IT!!! NOW, DAMNIT!!!
And, btw.. I found this book to be very good... I must say though... I somehow seem convinced that the ending in THIS book, to me, would have been the one I expected for book 7... without getting into TOO much detail at present, I have to say that the ending of this one almost seemed "too final" to me...
However, I am already anticpating the next chapter of the Harry Potter to be written on the big screen... click here to view the site for the upcomming Fourth year at Hogwarts for young Harry, where he encounters the "Goblet of Fire"... (Due out in November)
I believe that people have the right to read a book without it being ruined for them. I've had books ruined for me, and it's pretty infuriating. But for some reason when I saw a ytmnd in which someone had this book ruined for them I thought it was fucking hilarious. Maybe because I'm not really a Harry Potter fan. (I don't dislike them, I just haven't read them.)
I snagged a copy before it went down, but it's on my other computer...
Oh.. and as I type... I'm *ahem* obtaining a possible copy of the same book in an audio file... might be neat... I'll have to see if it works, first...

I'm materialistic... so I like to actually own physical copies of things to clutter up my living environment. Oh, and making sure the artists, authors, and whoever else gets their fair share (not just money but with sales records) might have something to do with it.
Well, I can't download it because I go to a cafe..And I'm not at home. And there's obviously no guarantee that I'd be on the same pc the next day too.. If I was at home, *sniffs*, I'd have downloaded it already.
