How much is it there?

Here it is usually... and I will convert it.......it is ... 0.89 GBP= 1.71707 USD

but because of what happened some places are charging 0.96 GBP =1.85211 USD

At 0.96p per litre, that equals AU$2.35 a litre.

If we paid that a litre, there'd be a lynching. It's almost like that at $1.20 (48p) a litre. I got it a $0.99/litre (40p) recently. That was good.

US$2.90 divide by 3.77 = US$0.77 a litre. This equals 0.38p a litre.

Yes, in spite of Americans' bitching, gasoline is one of the few commodities they still get on the cheap. The real problem is that the US is literally built around the automobile. If we paid out the ass like the rest of the world, our whole car-based society would break down.

Motorcycles are cheaper, and they get the chicks!
