It's a crap shoot. Some women find it adorable and feel honored to take a man's virginity and some think tat any guy past 17 who is still a virgin is some kind of dork, according to the latest zoomie poll.
Personally I prefer a woman with experience. When it comes to my penis I'm not a very patient teacher.
Well, I will be honest, I didn't WANT to be his first, as I like a man with experience. BUT in his case, his desire to do so and his desire to please made up for any "awkwardness" he had.

Like I said it's a crap shoot. If the conversation turns to sex and you tell her you're a virgin there's a good chance she'll think you're a freak. If you wait until the last minute to tell her she might think it's adorable that you want to give it to her or she might get that metallic taste in her mouth that you get just before you puke. If you don't tell her at all and you suck in bed she might never call you again.
BTW in most cases the last scenario is preferable,
