So Lucky and eitje are riding down with me Friday night, and will promptly be put to work rigging and prepping the sailboats. If Steeleye doesn't make it Fri Luke and I will pull a midnight raid on the marina and get the SS Manfrog. I'll also bring tents and Steeleye has a few thermarest mats there (I think). There are also two sofas on the porch. Mosh and I slept on them last fall and it was perfect (except he snores like a bull rhinoceros).
Food ideas? Wing it Friday night, eggs and sausages for breakfast Sat, fruit, cheese, bread and dry salami buffet for lunch and maybe mixed kabobs for dinner Sat night? And Steeleye can handle pancakes on Sun morning. You're on your own with road food after that. Thoughts?

I timed it as close to Lucas' ticket as I could. Used the credit from the failed caving trip. PM me an address and I'll UPS some camping gear ahead of myself. 'S cheaper than checking bags these days!
If you feel you need to, I have plenty to lend. In fact I have a brand new Shires tarptent, an REI AirCore pad and two new UNUSED synthetic mummy bags that I'd be happy to let you use. I'll throw in an LED micro lantern if you're afraid of the dark.

Steeleye gets the bedroom. I get the foldout. I'm bringing the pod tent, it sleeps up to 7 in three rooms Lucky called the solo, mummy and pad(actually I offered) Two comfy sofas on the porch (I'm thinking eitje and Emp) That leaves Mello and Boo...er, I mean PJ in the pod. So we probably don't need the pod, I can bring my new Coleman 8x8 and if it still inflates, an air mattress.
EDIT: And there's the boys' room which has a double futon on the lower bunk and a single mattress on top. Now I know if Joe shows he'll want the top bunk so he can girly giggle with Mello all night and then listen to her and PJ make sexy time...
OK?
Bring a blanket and a pillow. A pad or air mattress if you need one. A towel and beach clothes. Bring booze and a little something for the beach bar. And as someone who was badly burned in FL last weekend, SUNSCREEN!!!
LOOK AT THE FOOD PLAN AND TELL ME IF IT'S NOT TO YOUR LIKING!!! If there are no objections I'll pick it up on the way down and we'll split it evenly among the number of attendees (barring objections). Looks like 8 people, by my calculations that should be less than $20 per person for food for the weekend. Probably much less.
Damn I'm good at this. If only I weren't heterosexual I could be a party planner. Damn my straightness...
Sailboat race Sat afternoon. Upstream past the far marker buoy, back to the near buoy and then back to the beach. No more than a 2 minute engine burn. Maybe I'll get a trophy or something for the winner (which will be me anyway).
Bonfire and general drunken stumblings Sat night bottle rocket wars until the neighbors complain. Breakfast Sunday and we'll have to have eitje and lucky on the road by 12:30 at the latest.
You have 7 days to decide, it's YOUR PARTY. I'm just trying to make it easier, hence less work and more fun for all.
