CAREFUL THERE FORGOTTEN... Aaron might try to take his period pains out on you.
ENOUGH! STOP KICKING AT A DEAD FUCKING HORSE! Let the issue drop and lets move on. No one gives a shit anymore about what happened a few weeks ago. Stop scratching at the scabs.
Ringo sucks. He was just lucky to be in the company of three of the best musicians ever. He contributed nothing! I repeat: He is a fucking loser. I would gladly shoot him dead if it would bring back George or John.
why?....he did comedy songs ....yellow submarine, octopuses gardon, a little help from my friends I feel he added the light and happy element that made the beatles great! and probly why he lived so long!....the beatles would be a different formula with out his influence. ..............they'd still be fucking awsome!..... but different.
.....his solo stuff was comendable as well....photograph , the no no song, it dont come easy is also awsome!
"please remember peace is how we'll make it, there within your reach....if youre big enough to take it! I dont ask for much I only want trust and you know it dont come easy....and this love of mine keeps growing all the time and you know it just aint easy."-----ringo starr
I wouldn't call those songs his just because he sang them. The only one of those three that he wrote is "Octopus's Garden," and even that one required help from George Harrison. It's also the only Beatles song that I really dislike, and one of only two that he wrote. The other one was "Don't Pass Me By," which was passable, but certainly not up to par for the Beatles. As far as a light and happy goes, they were all like that. He was just your average peacenik, but unlike the rest of the Beatles, he had no significant musical talent. (PS. I don't mean peacenik in a bad way. Peaceniks are awesome, I just mean to point out that back in the sixties "light and happy" people were a dime a dozen.)

Ringo rules, he's a cool cat from Liverpool who was in a band once I don't like the Beatles per se, but Ringo was 1/4 of the most popular band of the century, arguably. He's still putting out records and touring, doing what he likes, assembling all-star bands etc. He gets top talent for his studio work and shows, his image aside from the Beatles may not be your taste, but the man was the Beat in The Beatles for bloody sake. "I'm a drummer", that's how he described himself in an interview with Jon Stewart mebbe 5-6 weeks ago, it's pretty obvious he wasn't the songwriter for the Beatles..
