my father in law was a nice guy to many people, me included
he passed away about 2 years ago down in the islands... right where he belonged.

spooky...

this, I never told anyone. When I got out of school, I moved into a furnished cheap 3 room apartment near downtown. The landlords were a 3 generation car repair shop business adjacent to the apartment building itself. There was Charlie, the raspy cranky ornery but genuine old codger, he was about 82 at the time, then Tommy, also a huge mumbly grump and heavy smoker who worked hard every day. And then Mike was like 30, he worked hard too, but was quiet and kind of detached. But the guy who took all the money and ran shit with the apartments was Charlie, he loved the building and treated all the tenents fair as hell. In the building as a tenent was an AA meeting hall that the family supported, as well as 1-2 other businesses. Charlie also had a voice and a style of talking that was total hardcore old raspy codger
Any way, fast forward and full circle 17 years, I live in the same building again. Charlie's been dead a dozen years, and his son Tommy has retired from the car biz and now collects the rents, and Mike is in recovery and has bladder cancer, but doing well, and besides is working with The Red Cross and a bunch of other social work stuff. Has a Harley etc...

About the onset of winter, late in December of 03, I'm starting to notice something. At that time, I was delivering alot of downtown postal routes, and when they were completed, I'd always either walk past, or right into, my apartment building. What I started to notice was Charlie's voice in my head....... it was fucking Charlie, and for a long time the message made absolutely no sense. It used to happen other times as well, but always coming towards the apartment building, within a block of it.
It was his voice, like it was in a dream, and I actually figured out what he said before the apartments burned down to the ground in a huge inferno that stunk up my town for weeks (on Feb 7, 04). He said "The apartments". Just like he always used to say it, though I could argue a certain desperate character to it. It made no sense, it did not come off as a warning, but it was absolutely there in my head.

that would be awesome!

I went to the wave pool today and some kid jumped into his tube and bumped my head...wouldn't you know It I turn around and look at the tube number its 182! lol I also saw that number last night on the way to wendy's. Timw as takign me up west liberty road and I was just talking about the whole 182 experience too and I turn to the left and their was a bulding that had the numbers 1-8-2-and I think 6 right next to it. I was like "Ohh.. peachy!"

So im not the only one that notices numbers like that. Ive noticed that if im chilling with friends, and everyone is carying on and having fun, i will notice 11:34 or 12:34 on the clock. Im talking about Random glances, nobody asks the time, nothing. Its significant because it has happened for years. Im starting to get into numerology a bit, but theres just so much to remember...
