i love this question because it can be asked on a variety of message boards, and ppl are always willing to respond. classic.

i love wax. i also love to pluck and i trim it when im lazy.

shaving's a no. i have shaved it less than 10 times in my entire life. i usually do it in a rush when im too lazy to deal with wax.

i hate stubble, and i figure when i do have a partner, he appreciates no stubble.i use that kind of wax that doesnt require strips and that sort of wax is best but it takes a lot of time since it isnt water soluble.

and of course i can understand why most guys would opt to shave.

i hate pube hair

I generally shave, but I have fine, slow growing hair on my girly bits. I've tried waxing (with the strips because I don't know of this wax you speak of) and it wasn't very good and I had to do more plucking than otherwise. I only get stubble around the week later when it's time to shave again. So I get at least 5 days stubble free. Right now, though, since I'm on the miracle grow drug it's growing in entirely too fast, and I hate ingrown hairs, so I just keep it cut super short.

I'll get the name of the wax. it is REALLY good, but, like i said it isnt water soluble and you'll probably end up having to pick off some of the dried wax when you're done. it's a fucking pain but the wax is awesome, and it's under $7. Microwave wax costs more and requires strips and isnt as effective. on the upside, water soluble is a lot easier to deal with. I would get more ingrowns if i shaved. my muff cant take shaving.

redheads also are supposed to have coarser hair than others. it seems true for my daughter and me. we are always shaving, plucking, waxing and the tub drains need snaked about twice a year.

Yes, we reds DO in fact, have coarser hair. I shave mine in the summertime and use it to clean my bbq grill.

I just seem to have fine hair and it's thin everywhere except my head. *shrugs* But seriously since being put on this miracle grow, all of it is growing too fast for my tastes. I hate shaving more than a couple of times a week. I guess I'm just truly lazy. But I'd LOVE the name of the wax you're talking about because I don't have issues with the pain, and if it means I don't have to shave again for a few more weeks, that's even MORE awesome. cheesey

Surgi-wax. it comes in a blue box with pics of what else? bikini areas. it is awesome. and cheap. ive bought it at walmart and i think walgreens, target, and any other retailer will carry it.

But, remember, it is a PAIN>

I've waxed before, it does hurt like a motherfucker, but it's worth it in the end. Only I did more plucking than shaving. I'll have to find that stuff and see about making use of it. cheesey I appreciate the tip.

see, waxing doesnt hurt me. it hurts a tiny bit.

I'm weird, like, childbirth didnt bother me, but i hate needle pricks in the finger
Kidney stones by far the worst pain, and epidurals hurt REALLY bad. oddly enough, the epidural was for the kidney stone procedure and not childbirth

and ive had 2 sprained ankles before and just walked around on them.

i am probably the type who could get half my body tattooed and pierced and it wouldnt bother me but id break my finger and cry for a month

Well tattoos are just annoying scratch like pains, and piercings burn, except the ears. Those hurt me the worst. I've broken bones and they don't bother me as bad as an earache. So I'm with you on the weird small pains are the worst ones. I think it's the initial pull that hurts so bad, after that it's all cakewalk. But that first one is a doozy.
