Ugh, the only bands I've seen in the past several years are the hippie bands from the festivals and I don't watch them play cuz the only reason I go there is for teh drukqs.
Geez... what have I managed to see this year... not a huge list like that I dont think, but still some cool stuff: RATM silverchair (wasted my money on that one) Hilltop Hoods Eddy Current Suppression Ring Bjork Rollins (spoken word) Jesus & Mary Chain (who were excellent) Iron Maiden The New Pornographers The Dandy Warhols (I should have gone seen the BJM as well)
Theres some others there but I forget 'em... Going to see the Fireballs this Friday...
Next Year is looking good, kicks off with Santogold, followed by Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, and the Bloodhound Gang in February. Might even bother to go see NIN again... wasnt overly impressed the last time I saw 'em tho, but my friend Deanstupidhead will want to go (assuming he doesnt find a heart donor in the meantime).

Apart from local bands, we only went to one concert this year, but it was a pretty good one. Hyde Park Calling in June in London (duh) - The Police, and they were fucking awesome. Starsailor and KT Tunstall were really good too, actually.
And the event was sponsored by Tuborg, so we got fucking plastered.

I'd love to see RATM. Iron Maiden played in San Antonio I believe, but I didn't make it. Rollins was here but I wasn't swayed to go. Haha the Bloodhound Gang would be fantastic to see
I think I'm done with shows for 2008. It was a great year - probably one of the best, since like 1999 for me.
I'm pretty happy with my opportunities to see concerts in Baltimore. I don't usually go see big names, but I see tons of mid-size and local bands for next to nothing.
And seriously, I don't have herpes. If what's infecting my genitals is such an exciting topic for you than I'm sure you can take what I've said and use the power of deduction to figure out what I have.
