Now the law you're thinking of:

The key words are "induces" and "unlawful sexual intercourse". As far as I have found only one case has ever been prosecuted under this law [Commonwealth v. Foley, 24 Mass. App. Ct. 114, 506 NE2d 1160 (1987)], in which the defendant attempted to pay a high school boy to perform oral sex on him. The importance of this is that at the time oral sex was in and of itself illegal in Massachussetts under the state's since-overturned sodomy law (M.G.L. c.272 sec. 34-35), AND that the act was "induced" illegally (i.e. prostitution). The law's only purpose is to stiffen the penalties for involving a minor in acts that are already illegal.
You know, it occurs to me that Lovernois's girl, being 16ish or whatever, has probably been speared with the hot beef injection already by some boy around her age. It's a statistical thing. I bet said boy is still walking the Earth.
