were you driving? How was it being a new driver in a new place? I'm sure you were fine, but I know I'm always a little freaked out in a strange place where I don't know my way around.
As for your trip, I'm jealous. I wish we had landscape like that. It's absolutely breathtaking. My dream vacations consist of the greenery of Iceland or the UK. Nowhere else compares. I've only ever experienced England once and that was when I was 15 so I think was way too young to really appreciate anything.
I would love to go back and really get to experience it now so I can truly appreciate it.
Not in that picture, I wouldn't drive at the start. Jame was driving, but then on the way home I just got in the car and drove about. I loved it, I drove to leicester the other day and took my friend shopping. It was the coolest thing ever, Just to know that I can drive all on my own now. When I first started to learn how to drive I used to think I would never have my own car because I was too scared and too crap at driving.
I drove round wales lots. I drove James mum and asked her if there was anything she noticed me doing wrong and she said I was an excellent driver which made me smile for hours after. My mums really proud too.
There are some lovely places in the uk, but there is some horrible ones too. I live in a horrible place which makes going to the lovely places even better. I never want to go home after a holiday. Hehehe. Where I was born and where my mum lives it used to be very pretty, but then we had a load of people from Iraq, portugal and croatia turn up and (no offence to anyone) fucked the place up with rape, steeling of people stuff in the street and taking all the jobs. Now its scary just walking through town there.
You should come back, The lake district is so pretty and huge.We didn't even see some of it, same with Wales.

typical tourist spots... London, Canterbury, Stonehenge... I got to see Wimbledon, too. We took the Sally Ferry to France and then stayed in Paris for a few days before we went to Switzerland to stay in Lucerne. Then we went to Italy and went from city to city for 2 weeks. It was a trip with my Italian class and a few classes from other schools around here so we got a huge group discount. There were about 50 kids my age that went with a few chaperones including my dad. It was super fun, but I think if I had been a little older I would've appreciated it more. It was so hot and we walked all over I was more concerned with finding a bathroom and a place to sit than the scenery.
