In other news I got tickets to see Celtic Frost (yes folks, you read that correctly, CELTIC FROST!!!)

Oh and a ticket to see Sloan too, I'm a sucker for guitar power pop (as opposed to their compatriot nemesis Nickleback who can only play musical excrement)...

I saw Celtic Frost with Type O Negative a couple of months ago.

They were really good. A lot better than I was expecting, really.

Type O Negative, on the other hand, played the worst show I'd ever seen them play. Peter Steele was looking pretty bad after the whole jail and rehab debacle of the past couple of years.

Celtic Frost were excellent. The only thing that pissed me off was that all the tshirts were sold out before I got there. Lost of old stuff like Jewel Throne, Dethroned Emperor and Necromantical Screams. Pity they didnt do Mexican Radio.

Martin Ain finished the show with a long and confused rant in broken english about gods and running home to our womens and something. Tied the whole thing together.

And he has the biggest hair I've ever seen up close.

I think Tom G Fischer has a Hulk Hogan hair style these days. The beanie didnt look like coming off.
