I don't WANT to go to Nashville on Monday. I'm scared of what they'll find. I'm hoping it's something easy to fix or he'll out grow them. I don't want him to have bad epilepsy.

Nathan has been having these random "fits". And I explained them to his regular doctor. She set us up an appointment with the Vanderbilt Children's Neurological group and we've seen a Pediatric Neurologist and he said that it was possible that Nathan had mild form of epilepsy that could be outgrown, but we needed to get an EEG and get started with the testing. So that was good news. We went back last Tuesday for the EEG and we're suppose to hear this week what they find out. So it's a big bunch of hurry up and wait.

they have him on this medicine called Keppra. And it's calmed him down considerably. And I've noticed only a few "fits" since putting him on it. Mostly it's been when he's WAY overstimulated and tired or when we've had to skip a dose and he gets overstimulated. But he's doing ok. He's walking and trying to talk now.

Awesome
Andy's ex's daughter, who comes to visit with his son was born with Spina Bifida and has epilepsy and some other problems, takes Keppra as well, and I am almost sure she hasn't had any problems for the last year... I am glad to hear that. she is 12 years old and I think her doctor switched her to Keppra a couple years ago because it has less side effects... but I'm not sure.
