It's not so much the religion that bothers me, it's the hypocrasy. Once, just once, I'd like to see some of these extremists pull their noses out of the New Testament long enough to glance at the Old Testament. Just a glance. a little itty bitty glance. Something about loving thy neighbor...
What amazes me the most is that elder Phelps started his career as a civil rights lawyer. But I wonder if someone went Deliverance on his ass long ago and that formed his views.
