So, Mike Leavitt, the Health and Human Services Secretary has decided that medical professionals have rights that are being infringed upon and feels that there is a need to protect their rights to deny coverages and services. And at the time in THAT article he says "this isn't about abortion or contraceptives, but about the right of the medical professionals right to act on conscience." Uh huh....why single out abortion rather than the million of other things.
