Ok - I caught about 5 minutes of SciFi Channels new show 'Chase'. I damn near beat the fuck out of my screen - then wanted to smash it over my head for paying the company that pays the network that pays the people that makes this shit.....
Here is what I was thinkin: let me loose in a unfamilar city.. saaaay Reno - Gimma a bare map maybe, a destination, and let me loose... have feds try to catch me....
NOOOOOOOOO The 'Runner' has a tracking device on them so the Chasers can find them... there is some kind of laser tag thing going on... breasty babes out of breath saying 'oh my god - there is one of them'... WTF IS THIS!?!?
OK so don't watch shit. It shouldn't be on SciFi anyway. Neither should some dumbass wrestling show. Neither should That dumb Tracy Morgan show. THis is like MTV not showing vids anymore. Whatev.
I love reality TV, the epitome of mindless entertainment. Yet, I seem to only watch the reality shows on VH1. Cris Abrego and Mark Cronin are geniuses.

Well Dan - you are part of the problem... if people would stop watching these shows - they would cancel them and stop making them.
Instead the cancel shows Like the Original Star Trek (3 years) or Firefly (1 year!) Why am I paying $50 a month for basic cable to get 4 shopping networks, a couple religious channeles and a whole lotta other crap that is almost all comercials?
Oh right - they want you to pay that extra few bucks + the monthly fee for the box now.....
IN FACT - Comcast customers - you notice Cartoon Network is changin to channel 130 or whatever on digital basic!? NO MORE ADULT SWIM FOR ME AT NIGHT!? Hell that's the ONLY time I am home!
I am mucho happy with the internet provided for the price - but the TV - it's gone.

Indeed - to everything all of you said.
I am dropping the basic cable and usin the saved money to increase my DL speed by 3mbps - then just D/L all the shows I WANT to see, when I want to see them, comercial free.
Now I just need to dedicate an "Entertainment server" in the living room and try to keep the kids off it so they they don't fuck it up with thier Myspace Viruses.
