Hoooo - k. I bit the bullet and am in the process of installing the XP Service Pack 3 on My main development machine... fingers crossed I thought.
Funny thing is... My Anti Virus keeps Popping up with script blockers, and then Internet Exploder keeps opening with ads for Viagra and diet pills.....
Odd thing about this - I have been in this Biz for a long time, I only use Firefox and Opera as browsers, and I have NEVER seen this before.

UPDATE: Avast AntiVirus Script blocker poppin up at random intervals. My default media player was changed from WinAmp to Win Media Player. More to come I am sure. Damn SP3

GMer fixed some of the problems - had to manually replace the rest.
I did however have a strange event a few days ago. I had moved some desktop Icons around and Installed the Trial for WOW, it was late so I left it on and went to bed without logging off or anything. In the Morning it was at the log in screen, upon loggin in the Icons where back where they where and WOW is not installed on this PC - like it went to a previous restore point. Nothing else changed however, and If I loose power the PC turns off and stays off.

I knew there would be more - Now I am dealing with random BS O' D (B;ue Screens Of Death for the rest of ya)... Since I tried to fix that that previous exploder pop up fix I did seems to have been negated.
It sucks when your own development Machine becomes your testing site.
I will post fixes as I find them for you techies out there.
