What seems like a long time ago I digitally signed some only petition to bring the TV show Firefly back from the dead. I told all of my friends about it, and so they all signed up. Then the site disappeared. Next thing I know the actor who played the captain on the show is now starring in a show called 'Drive' coming out on Fox.
I have never been a big fan of TV, but there are a few shows that I can really appreciate, and this was one of them. With all of the crap that is pumped out you start to wonder why you pay that '$50' a month for basic cable when all you watch is a couple of shows.... but the ones that keep your interest make it worth it... then the network cancels it and runs a Matlock marathon.
The only time I can think of that a TV show was brought back by was when they pulled 'Farscape' which i didn't participate in, but enough fans put up enough stink that they brought it back. It's didn't last long, granted, and most of the actors ended up on SG1, but still... it worked.
Does Anyone have any info on what's going on with this, is it still a possibillity? Or are we all doomed to flip through another generation of feux reality TV and Erin Spelling-esk crap?

I highly doubt they will ever bring Firefly back, considering it only lasted three before it was canceled back in 2002. Sorry!
