yeah, thats fucking bullshit. they get listing fees, a percentage of the final going price, and the fee paypal charges when you recieve a payment from a buyer/bidder. And, i dont know if you have ever spoken to anyone in Paypal's customer service. i have, a few times. they are cocksuckers. they must have seriously, seriously, all been trained to act that way. like assholes. They have a disturbing attitude considering they do provide customer service.

Is this more of a 'HATE THREAD' cause you didn't of it first? As a programmer I can totally understand that, but when you are paying them x- amount for the service, and you are making x-amount of proffit on the shit in you closet... umm... think about it - that's what you're paying the fees for - yes you can sell the item (maybe) on a lesser known site like ubid (or ubidjax), but when you are getting the possibility of millions of viewers....
how many ads do you see on ebay? im sure they're making a healthy profit without the 3% paypal and listing fees.
and paypal customer service is a fucking joke. they closed my first account. i gave up trying to figure out why. its rediculous. ive dealt with some pretty bad customer service lines (gateway comes to mind), but paypal doesnt even have any.
