I think that maybe next month there should be a thread for the best, worst, most disapointing, most surprising, etc... Movies of '07 - I suppose I will set that up - untill then Here are some of my pics of good ones that you all need to see before voting
Pan's Labarynth Perfume 300 Perfect Stranger
That's all u get for now - Granted 2006 was a better year for movies - but I wasn't a member this time last year. Look for the Poll late Dec.

Year End is almost here and they snuck the usual few good ones at the end it seems - I personally am waiting for 'I am Legend" before I do a final post.
No one else has seen any films this year worthy of a few seconds of touting? (basically I want to know if I missed anything good )
I really liked Grindhouse. I also liked the Aqua Teen movie. And I was pleasantly surprised by 1408.
I liked We Own the night, but I'm not sure if that's because I was sucked in by Eva Mendes masturbating right up front in the movie, or because it was actually good.
I was extremely disappointed by 28 weeks later. 30 days of night was much less disappointing, but I still wanted more out of it.
I liked Resident Evil:Extinction in spite of it being terrible purely based on fanboy obsession with Milla.
Two other terrible movies I watched in 2007 that I think are wholly unredeemable - the Hitcher and Live Free or Die Hard.
I Am Legend wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. I'd give it a C. It was clearly based more on the previous movies rather than the book. I didn't like them trying to turn the story on to a positive end rather than the twist that Matheson gave it (which gives the title its meaning).
I thought the dog was the best part of the movie, but I'm a fag for dogs.

You called me out Reagan on the Pan's Lab thang - my bad - but what is this 'books' thing you mention of I Am Legend? I had work to do but now I must research this (still haven't seen it).
I Am Legend is a remake. The original was much better. Pan's Labyrinth is probably one of the best movies to ome out in several years. No Country For Old Men is my next movie to watch. Into The Wild was good, but you kinda had to read the book to fully understand it.
