After all these decades, the idiots at WB have decided to revamp the original Loony Toons to suit the Ritalin generation. They're making it totally, like, edgy and x-treme, to the max. Or something. Nevermind that we all hated that shit when it was new and stupid. Now it's just kind of sad.
Apparently the classic characters will be recast as some kind of superhero team. I assume the bizarre drawing style is meant to ride on the oddly-shaped coattails of Teen Titans. But the funniest part about this is that the original WB toons have already been de-balled because parents today like to sue anybody they can get their hands on when precious little Hunter Madison Chandler Archer does something incredibly stupid/fatal because they use the TV as a babysitter and no one's there to tell him what's right, wrong, or real. And having attention spans best measured in dosages, today's brats can't handle the slow pace and complex narrative of a 5 minute Bugs Bunny short once all the imitatable violence has been removed for their own good.
