... ESPECIALLY when I tell them repeatedly over many months to STOP CALLING!
My beef is about "AmeriBanc" (not AmeriBank, apparently), a company that tries to sell me Credit Card Processing devices ... I've been documenting, and I'm filing a complaint and lawsuit for harrassment ... I gave also warned them of my doing so; a warning they refuse to heed ...
Here's the info, obtained by Armadillo ....
Amarillo Business Connection - 6 Nov 2007 After repeated calls from phone number: 630-625-7067, AmarilloBusinessConnection.com decided to get to the bottom of this issue and post our findings here as well as other websites of this nature to help in putting an end to this problem.
The people who call and answer their phones are very rude and refused to escalate this to upper management. Remember, consumers have a legal right to demand and speak to upper management, no matter what the circumstances.
Company Name: Ameribanc National 225 S. Gary Ave Bloomingdale, Illinois 60108

Report any unsolicited calls to The Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation at [Click, Dick] Also file a complaint with the Illinois State Attorney General Office at [Click, Dick]
If you continue to have problems contact the Federal Trade Commission [Click, Dick] and file a report against them there also.
It took us several days of research and phone calls to obtain this information. I hope that this helps anyone else who continues to receive calls from this company. Caller ID: 630-625-7067 Caller: Ameribanc National Caller Type: Telemarketer
I'll keep posting in this thread to further document the calls, the harassment, and anything else I want to add about this ....
Meanwhile, I found the info in this thread here after my 54th call from these asswipes .... [Click, Dick]
Anyone else wanna bitch about them, or perhaps any other telemarketers and/or telemarketing scams?
I only have a cel phone and I don't release the # on the internet or to anyone I don'tknow. The only people who call me are the collections office from my mortgage compny, and they are all in Banglore, India.
I tell them to eat my balls in Hindi and they leave me alone.

Go American Yellow Pages/GoAm Media
Now, being not only in business, but owning more than one business, I get wuite a few calls ... I now have a company trying to tell me that I owe them for "Yellow Pages" lists ... I looked them up, and this person apparently has the same issue I have ... (And I told this rude Indian bastard to go screw at the end, to boot ...)
Strange call from American Yellow Pages
Today I answered my phone at the office and this very foreign man (probably calling from India) was on the phone with questions to me about my yellow pages listing. He wanted to verify my information and make sure that I wanted to leave it as it had been with no changes.
He asks me about my phone, address, name and if all that was still the same. I told him that it was accurate. Then he says that for the same price this year he's giving me a free listing of the company name also. I ask him what yellow pages he's talking about and how much money is he talking about. The price is the same, he says, as last year but with a free listing. I tell him that I didn't have a bill for that service and that amount last year ($459) and what is he talking about?
So impatiently he tells me to get on my computer and go to goamerica.com. Nothing. He says go to goamerican.com. Nothing. Then he says go to goamericanyellow.com and this web site pulls up. He says click on a certain tab and type in my phone number. It then pulls me up and my office up. He says that is what I'm paying for.
I tell him at that point that I have never agreed to any of that advertising and don't agree to it now. He asked, "Well do you want me to just take it off?" I reply that would be fine.
I'm thinking now that it was a scam. He had probably put my name in there before calling me. He would have, I assume, asked me for my credit card if I'd agreed to "leave it as it was". The page if you want to check it out and be alert was [Click, Dick] and once there it was called American Yellow Pages. It wasn't impressive to me and I doubt that anyone at any time would use it.
The company trying to scam me is GoMedia.Com ... Here's more info on them ...
GoAmericanYellowPages/Go American Yellow Pages is a fraud company out of Florida. The owners name is Sam Rubin. They are owned by a company named Financial Trust LLC. at 1040 Bay View Dr. suite 114. Ft Lauderdale. Florida 33304. Their FEI number is 04-3814412 Beware. This company is impossible to get in touch with. They are a completely fake business. They claim to distribute normal yellow pages like Yellowpages.com. but they are lying. Complain to the I.C.3. department of the FBI. if they are calling you and saying you owe them money.
I love telemarketer calls... I let them get going of their pitch, and then just hang up.
I pissed one of them off by doing that one day his boss called me to tell me off for "rudely" hanging up on his phone chimp. I didnt even bother to respond, I let him get going on his rant, gave him a minute to rant away, and then I simply hung up mid rant. It's not costing me anything, but it wastes their time and money.
I like wasting their time too, string them along so they think they're getting a sale, then dither about making a decision, or ask a bunch of vaguely related questions real slowly. The more of their time you can waste the better, because they have certain time frames they have to complete the call in. If they dont make it, they get in shit, (having worked with call centres in my job I know this). A fake stutter is a real friend when a telemarketer calls... because if he gives you shit you can complain, and you can really string them along.
I know they're scum, but they are so easy to mess with.
