Fah-q says it's better to put the vegetables in with the hamburger while it cooks, so im gonna try that next time

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ i was channel surfing and that blonde guy with the spikey hair on food network was at some mom-and-pop place that made this stuff and it looked heavenely, albeit artery-clogging.
anyway, i have no exact measurements on this but use your judgement, im guessing you guys cna cook!
a lb of hamburger, or a bit more. dont be lazy while youre cooking it, dont let it clump up, break it continuously apart while it's cooking, and use a lid. that way, you get finer, mushier product, and thats better. drain the fat off as you go, but dont drain ti completely dry at the end, save just a bit in there. you can also use 1 part ground pork, although i havent tried it that way. also, even tho leaner hamburger's better for us, dont use extra-lean burger for this recipe, not saying use crap burger, but, get at least 85/15 ground chuck/round/beef
after that, dump all this stuff in the skillet with the burger, simmer it for about a half hour to an hour, lowest heat, covered, stir occasionally.
kethcup, about half a cup is sufficient. if you use too much the chili sauce takes on a totally kethcup taste and that isnt good.
Domino light brown sugar in the box. about 1/3 cup. experiment, ppl, soem ppl dont like too much of a sweet taste and others do.
chili powder. dont be stingy with the chili powder, use a lot,
a bit of mustard. not more than 1/8 a cup max, it tends to overpower the other stuff
green, red, and yellow or orange peppers, as well as onions. chop as fine or chunky as you like. dont be a lazy ass, get all the seeds from the peppers, and use less red, yellow, and orange peppers. use mostly green about 16 oz of tomatoe sauce. you may use more or less depending on what you like, but you should have the chili sauce be meaty.
SAZON. i dunno if all of you knwo what that is. use about the whole packet.
an envelope of chili mix, you know, that stuff in the packet that lazy ppl add a can of beans and soem ground meat to. you can use up to the whole packet, gives a great kick.
salt and pepper to taste, altho you wont even need pepper, really, because, you're gonna use
CAYENNE pepper. dont overdo it unless you're into that.
and Paprika, an underrated spice. dont be stingy with it!
just add a lil' bit of this or that and occasionaly taste-test to see if you're digging the flavor.
i am not into hotdogs but this is awesome, and unhealthy, i dont eat it all the time
