I have had the worst fookin luck with vehicles the past few years, except one.
Little background - back in 2005 the clutch went out one my souped-up Saab SPG, and in the same month the rear-end dropped in my wife's Jeep CJ. Was forced to buy wheels and found a sweet little Volvo 940. Over the next 3 years, I wound up spending around $2800 on the Saab in all kindsa new parts, whilst my wife drove the Volvo (the CJ needs alot). Well, when the Exhaust went on the Saab (a $200 fix) I said "FUCK IT!!" -->See the For Sale Section of Tharash Inc forums<---
I needed the Space to Haul equipment, and something with some ground clearance unlike the SPG, so I went and Spent 3k on a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. Was fun for about 3 months, then the 'water pump' went out. Turns out THE FUCKING HEAD GASKET AND BLOCK ARE BLOWN!!!
Cheapest install for a used engine = $1600, remand = $2700.
You know what I could do with that Saab for $3000+2700? IT WOULDA BEEN LIKE NEW!!!!
God hates me.
On the other hand the Volvo is running great and has had no problems. To bad I gave it to my wife
SO - Now I have an 86 Saab SPG, an 86 CJ-7 Laredo, and a 96 Grand Cherokee Laredo Dead in the yard. I am so buyin a scooter.

They caught when they replaced the WP (on monday), filled it up and cranked it - bubbles in the overflow, inspected - BAM! Honestly even with replacing the engine + what I payed for it with the condition it's in is still around the book value... it's just commin up with the fuckin $$!!
