SOOOO Sci-Fi channel did a marathon of a whole series of the short run show "Level 9" that evidently originally aired on the now defunct UPN back in 2000....

For one... i don't know why I never heard of this show.
For two... they did a DAMN good job with estimations of how technology would evolve (from what I saw the show took place in 2007-2008) unlike most of the 'near-future' sci-fi crap we usually see. Don't get me wrong, alot of it is far fetched, but then again on CSI they solve cases in less then a few days every week and people LOVE that show.

We need more geek - relevant shows like this one. Actually, we need 1 geek relevant show like this one to make my cable bill worth it. And damn it I still want to bring Firefly back. Next thread I guess.

I've never seen Level 9 or even heard of it, however, Firefly was a damned amazing show and I'm surprised that it didn't go further than it did.
