took a hit to the driver's side last night in an intersection. I'm ok. Thankfully my cello wasn't in the car. My back is hurting though
Want to add insult to injury? Power outage at work. Did anyone call to tell me? Nope! Commute = 1 hour up, 1 hour 15 back all in my friend's car, and my painful back.
Some time when I feel like posting a novel, I'm gonna post a little history of my vehicle ownership, and explain how only a few of the write-offs were my fault.
I came about 2 inches from the same fate yesterday. Pulled away from a street light just as some asshole ran the red light. I barely caught a glimpse of the car coming out of the corner of my left eye and stopped short. It flew past right in front of me at about 45 mph but it had to swerve a little to get around.
If I had jumped off the line instead of using gas saving driving techniques it would not have been pretty.
The way my back has been feeling, i really should have went to the hospital. Today has been the first day since the accident I've walked around in an acceptable amount of pain.
I almost burst into tears yesterday at work! Everyday gets a little better so i think i'll just ignore it.
