I blew the head in my Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo In April of 2008.... shit kept happening throughout the year and I could't afford the $3000 for a new engine. I held in, bought a Jeep with a bad tranny back in January, and it took my mechanic THIS LONG to get it to me. BUT I HAVE IT BACK WOOOO!
On the plus side, for no extra charge he also replaced all my light lenses, put on a towing package, and there where 4 Intel PC towers, 2 19" CRT Monitors, 4 keyboards and meeses in the back when I picked it up. Shweet.
Of course instead of babying it I did what any self respecting geek would do when he burns in a processor for a PC by trying to over tax it - I kicked in the 4 wheel drive and tore around the 8 acres that I have to see how the engine would react. I wound up over heating it - but hey - thats part of the guarantee.
I love my Volvo but c'mon.
Anyone that wants to go fishin, off roadin, or just just gets stuck in the sand and needs a tow let me know. Now I am in the market for a new John Boat, canoe, or kayacks.
