Something simpler, like the one I started on L-G .... ... also, combining the forums, and the topics, with the help of Mosh (or whomever wants to help out)
Now that I'm getting older I'm caring less about my 'leet status, which I've had for almost 30 years, I think I want more "basic" ...
What do you people think and what do you think I should do?

will i still get to play here? i think whatever you do is cool. you're a cool dude. i agree with you, making it simple will be good. i think you should do what you feel is the right thing to do. if it makes things easier for you to manage, then go for it.

No, there is none in this day and age ... Honestly, board with a lot of info were in vogue YEARS ago, in the dialup days ...
Now, with the advent of Google, and everyone ELSE hosting info, why should I bother maintaining large amounts of (useless) data? I mean, it's not about the "the more shit you have, the more users you get" thing anymore ...
Honestly, I spent almost a greand on my first 1GB drive, and I WAS THE SHIT in the day ... I was also one of the first to be 56k ... I also hold the distinction of being the FIRST telnetable OBV/2 BBS ...Again, for the day, I was the shit ... I was 'leet as fuck, however, I care less about being 'leet, I just want "Thrash" Inc. BBS!!! Systems to carry on after 28+ YEARS ...
It seems "simpler" is better and let everyone ELSE carry "mass info" ...

I know I am the last one you want to hear from because I disapear all the time but how many times have we talked about content overload!?!? I think maybe you should keep the board as is - unless it's a wallet drain - but all the content BS that NONE of us look at drives the search engine stats higher. I will admit and no offense to you admins - there are some features that can be deleted, the IRC for instance,... and the image gallery? How many years and there are 2 pictures in there?

Damn dude... it's been 20 plus years now since the old 203 & 860 era... I remember those days.... WIth the 2400 baud modems and shit... I remember when Grimmy-Poo and I would go and download the latest .jpg of whatever naked models we could find and put them on his board... then put in a ul/dl ratio of 25:1 for other perverts trying to see a nipple... *sighs* the good old days!
In all sincerity.. I understand where you're coming from.. almost 3 dex later, and we're still up and going... It's been a LOOOOOOOOOONG run... But I can see your point on wanting to open the doors to the place... get some new blood in here.. I mean, if you think back almost 5-10 years ago, Bored Board was popular, and they admitted anyone.. Perhaps that's the way to go... I mean, you still wanna most likely do the 'user forums' and shit.. That'd work, but with the understanding that the PEOPLE are responsible for their own content in the area...
