suz: Ok seskel the first one is, whats your name? sesk: CJ, or Charles if you prefer. I prefer CJ.
suz: age? sesk: 22
suz: astrological sign? sesk: Pisces, I hear we're supposed to be a sensitive bunch.
suz: birth place? sesk: Northern New Jersey, close (in TSi terms) to where I live now.
suz: heritage? sesk: Half Italian, Half Irish, Dutch, English, etc. Nothing exciting. If you want, you can delete any of these questions that have remarkably dull answers.
suz: nothing is boring about you! lefty? or right handed? sesk: Right-handed, just ask Little Sesk.
suz: do you have an innie or outie belly button? sesk: Innie. Again, nothing interesting to report on the navel front.
suze: when you get ready to leave do you a) put on both socks and then shoes, or b) a sock then a shoe on one foot and repeat for the other? sesk: Both socks and then shoes.
suze: do you have any brothers or sisters? ....................are you older or younger than they if yes? sesk: I'm the oldest of six children, by three different fathers. And Bachelor #1 begat Seskel and his eldest younger brother, and Bachelor #2 begat Seskel's sister, and Bachelor #3 begat Seskel's three kindergarten-attending brothers. (All by the same dame but with different names.)
suz: would you tell us ....are your parents married still? or divorced like mine? sesk: Divorced like yours. My father is on his second wife, mother on her third and happiest marriage, with a man who (pay attention here Z) she met on the internet.
suze: are you a marrying sort of man? sesk: I'd love to be married, but just because someone would love to drive a Corvette doesn't mean he's equipped to maintain one. I'm currently in sort of an alone-rut, preferring my own company to that of others even when I know it's not good for me. This isn't necessarily relevant to your question, except that I'm afraid it might be permanent, what with my tendency to take the easier path. If I ever get over that, then I think I could definitely be happy with marriage. I really want to have kids.
suz: what kind of girl would interest you most? sesk: This is a very difficult question to answer. I don't usually have a specific type, but I did meet a perfect girl once, so I'm going to say that the kind of girl I like is endlessly optimistic, likes Simon and Garfunkel and wears a necklace that says "HOPE."
suz: any pets? sesk: Not at the moment. For one week a few years ago I had a dove named Wallace. My sister's cat ate and killed it. 18 months ago I accidentally (really) killed another of my sister's cats by backing over it with a minivan. Maybe on some subconscious level it was retribution.
suz: Do you have a religion or spiritual beliefs you care to share with us? sesk: I have a specific disbelief I'd care to share with you, and that's in any God that has a problem with a person for a characteristic He gave them.
suz: what is your job, or how do you generate the symbols of energy to pay for what you want? .....do you like your work? sesk: I'm a college student, majoring in English and Philosophy. On Thursday I start my ninth and final semester. I spent the last few summers washing dishes and stocking beer at a restaurant/liquor store. The former I enjoyed, the latter I didn't.
suz: what is your career goal? sesk: I want to write and own a bookstore. The bookstore may be an impossible dream, now that this goddamn internet has probably rendered economically unviable any fledgling book business in the real world.
suz: Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I don't even know where I'll be in six months, after I've graduated.
suz: What are you most drivin by? money or love? sesk: I don't like those options! I've never been in love, so my answer is happiness.
suz: What is a day in your life like? sesk: Depends on the time of year. In the summer my days are basically just menial work. During school, I tend to sleep late and do a lot of reading. I love my English classes. My brother and I go to the same school, so on a good day maybe I'll run into him and we'll hang out. Most nights I spend reading, until 2 AM when I watch Quantum Leap on SciFi. (Note: I'm not big into Science Fiction, I just like that show.) Even though I hate this about myself, I'm very inclined towards keeping a routine.
suz: whats your favorite day off like? sesk: Hanging out with my friends, getting the fuck out of my room.
suz: any hobbies? sesk: Reading, writing, I enjoy the occasional tree climb and I really love throwing around a frisbee. When I'm home I like to take out my younger siblings.
suz: who (besides ringo) is your favorite beatle? sesk: Damn it, I don't know. I can't pick, and you've already ruled out the only definite no. I really like them all.
suz: for your entertainment...... whats your top 3 favorite bands? sesk: Tough. I'm not in a big list mood, so I'll say Radiohead, Pink Floyd, and The Beatles. But really I can't choose three. Well obviously I can, but it just feels wrong.
suz: 3 favorite songs? sesk: Hendrix's Star-Spangled Banner at Woodstock, Pink Floyd's Mother, and Oh Yoko. Again, though, three is not enough.
suz: favorite food? sesk: sandwiches can take so many forms, I have to pick them. But if that's too broad an answer, I'll change it to Penne a la Vodka with Chicken.
suz: do you party? sesk: Yes. I actually never had alcohol until seven months after my 21st, but since then I've certainly made up for lost time. The occasional use of marijuana soon followed, so decide for yourself which is the gateway drug.
suz: what problems with society concern you the most? sesk: Overpopulation. The proliferation of non-public forms of transportation that use fossil fuel.
suz: what is the solution to the problem? sesk: Less reproduction. The reduction of non-public forms of transportation that use fossil fuel. (My preferred mode of transportation is the bicycle.)
thank you very much CJ, you are a human deluxe and a delight to interview. *smiles* peace out

I never saw the remake, I'm a movie fan and I admit that I look down my nose at remakes, though some are very good, so I am being silly.
The Big Chill, Buckaroo Banzai, Transylvania 6-5000, Powder, Thank God It's Friday, Annie Hall, he's been in a lot of pretty good ones and I like the corny ones too.
Pisces people are supposed to be very nice, if you believe in that stuff, it does have a way of being true sometimes.
I am answering mine as I have time, did anyone get to Yoda yet?

no, we need to though there's many to do, and many to follow up on I sent Hayley one 2-3 days ago, though she's been unheard from forum wide for at least that long Maybe she is holed up with some tea and the midnight oil burning, typing herself a novel for us to be treated to. It could happen.
Sesk sounds like someone I would hang out with. And I really didn't know that until after I read his interview. *hugs Sesk* I'm glad there's nothing wrong with being optimistic.

Seskel Follow ups
Okay, first off... where's Ebert? And I thought Seskel died? If you are not this Seskel, just what is a 'Seskel'? Do people ever want to call you 'Chuck'? I think it would be fun to be called Chuck. People could ask "What's up Chuck?" and I could say "It's barf". It would probably become boring fast however. CJ is hot.
Pisces are observers and are typically brainy but stoic. They speak in somewhat pointed terse ways when prodded to talk, or are annoyed. They have a shitload of passion and need outlets for it, alot are either in crime fighting/helping people or acting/entertaining for careers. They also carry a fair amount of doubt in their hearts, mostly about putting someone else behind his own needs. What about you? Am I close?
What happened last year, maybe the last 3-6 months before your 21st birthday that was a hugely challenging life altering (possibly) experience that happened to you?
I'm the eldest of four kids. At least we got new clothes, no hand-me downs. Were you/are you asked to set an example for the rest alot? My fucking brother had his own ideas early on too, I'm not sure how much of an influence I was. What kind of influence do you think you are having on your sibs? I also have one sister. Did you ever have to uphold her honor out there yet? Or was she begat to far behind you to be at that age yet?
Simon and Garfunkel. I bet you like John Denver and possibly Gordon Lightfoot or Jim Croce too.
If you had have naked sex with someone you hate in exchange for one thing, what is it you would demand?
You said------------------------------------------------ "I have a specific disbelief I'd care to share with you, and that's in any God that has a problem with a person for a characteristic He gave them."
Interesting insight, but pointing out what a God is NOT is just as easy as the opposite. Anyways, I think the flaw in your thinking is only that a God would have a problem. At least one that a mere man like you or I could comprehend. We see the future as a horizon from an ant's perspective, while a God might see it from the highest peak, so he/she would not even consider our trivialities + minutia. He/she just creates and is, probably with a face on similar to the Mona Lisa.
I liked Quantum Leap too, but suffered through Scott Bakula a bit... he always seems so labored and wooden to me. What do you think? I think the other guy (who reminds me of Magnun PI's Higgins too much) should have been the leaper.
It's interesting to me that your Mom found what seems to be happy true love on the internet? Do you have a link? lol Can you explain a bit about how long it took, or any idea how it evolved? Just in clinical terms, like if they chatted for a long time first, how they met, boring crap like that.

A Seskel cannot be defined, all that is known for sure is that Seskel > Siskel.
Do people ever want to call you 'Chuck'? I think it would be fun to be called Chuck. People could ask "What's up Chuck?" and I could say "It's barf". It would probably become boring fast however. CJ is hot.
No. My grandfather's name was Chuck.

Plenty of doubt, that's for sure. I don't know about crime fighting. Actually I know for certain about crime fighting that the answer to whether I do it is No.

There weren't any that I can recall. I'm not trying very hard, though.

When I was young there were no hand-me-downs, my younger brother having outgrown me when we were probably 8 or 9. Hand-me-ups were what we had. My sister is 10, so her honor has been unchallenged thus far. My brother and I are ready with baseball bats, though. As for being a good influence, I'm only home with the kids a few months out of the year, and they're far too young to consider me an example-setting peer. They know I'm technically an adult.
Simon and Garfunkel. I bet you like John Denver and possibly Gordon Lightfoot or Jim Croce too.
John. Denver. Sucks.
If you had to have naked sex with someone you hate in exchange for one thing, what is it you would demand?
Amnesia.

Okay, now wait a second. If you're going to take what I said literally to the point of ignoring the conversational meaning of "have a problem," then you should have noticed that I never "pointed out" anything. The question was what I believe, not what conclusion I've come to after much soul searching and reasoning. You may have noticed, particularly lately, that religious belief often has nothing to do with reason. As for "having a problem," I didn't mean "problem" in the sense that someone being black or gay really puts God in a tough spot, I meant I don't believe that any God-given characteristic like color or sexual orientation is against God. "That a god would have a problem" is exactly what I don't think...I thought I made that pretty clear. Your idea of God seems to agree with me.
I liked Quantum Leap too, but suffered through Scott Bakula a bit... he always seems so labored and wooden to me. What do you think? I think the other guy (who reminds me of Magnun PI's Higgins too much) should have been the leaper.
Yeah, Scott Bakula in general I don't like except in small doses, like in American Beauty. Something about Quantum Leap, though, just gets me. It's often too sappy, and even stupid, but it entertains me. I'm very easy to amuse, I guess.

It was on AOL. I don't know the specifics, except that the first time I "met" my current stepfather was when my mother had him help me with my homework online. She told me he was a 48 year old woman. That turned out to be false.
