Hey sweetie... ....Are you far enough away from "rita"? If not, remember, you got somewhere to go, .......with a pool and two hot tubs! but, next week we gotta go back to my parents house so hurry!
Just read there, tells you what is happening, but don't worry, I am fine considering, and Austin will only get tornadoes mainly. It looks like we may escape that as well if it keeps drifting. Having a place to live for most of my family won't be that lucky I don't think. At least the storm weakened, so maybe the houses will stand? *hopes* And then they will just have to dry out, there's a sea wall there, but it won't hold back a 20 ft. storm surge. *sigh*
Thanks for your concern Suz, Meggers and Lovernios too, very sweet of you guys. *hugs*

I know, it totally sucks.
O.o - fire fighters from Houston just went across the causeway in Galveston to help firefighters there because the strand is on fire and historical buildings, that thing is a LONG narrow bridge across open water and the wind is going 60 mph now with Rita. One of the supervisors went first to make sure it wasn't certain death, that bridge is SCARY in normal conditions, these guys have balls of steel!
