After putting it off for a LONG time and trying to get various different insurances which never panned out,Im FINALLY getting my oral surgery on the 15th of the month........
I'll be getting 8 teeh pulled,6 of which are underneath the gum still.....Imma be put to sleep and probally have to take alot of anti-biotics and pain killers afterwards.....
Not to mention that i just found out that im STILL having to pay OVER 2 grand for this surgery as its 3 grand in total and my insurance only covers 1k of it....
AND i'll be taking around a week off of work for the surgery and recovery which is ALOT ALOT ALOT of money lost.....Probally around $400.00 or more including tips and hourly wage......
So im a bit scared and thinking im stupid right now....Cause im VOLENTARILY Going to be having a fairly major surgery,Loosing lots of time off work AND im paying 2 grand for all of this great amount of fun! YAY!
Well i get the surgery tomorrow morning,The only thing ima bit nervous about is getting stuck with a needle to be put to sleep but the way i figure it is that by the time i COULD start freaking out about a needle in my arm? well,I'll be unconcious.....
and i'll probally have pain pills afterwards too so its no biggie, If im not posting for 4 or 5 days it'll just be that things went worse than i expected and im passed out on the couch sleeping.....BUt i'll probally still be online for my recovery,I dunno.

They should give you a Valium or something to help you relax before putting you under. If you are really nervous just call them and discuss it with them or you could just.................
TAKE IT LIKE A MAN!
You'll be OK. I do understand though. Fear of the unknown is natural.
Thrash's comment just reminded me of what a friend of mine used to do to guys when they'd pass out.
He'd stick his finger in their mouth and wiggle it around real fast then as they opened their eyes he'd turn away and pretend to be zipping up his fly...
That shit got some hilarious reaction cause you could tell the person never knew quit how to react...
Just to make you real nervous P. I had, I think, 4 teeth out and choose anaesthetic by needle, it felt like the fucking dentist was tracing patterns on my goddamned arm. I'm choosing to assume my nerves were fucked up rather than he actually did prat around.
and it shouldn't take more'n 6-7 hours to recover, provided you go to sleep when you get home.
Well,I dont know.....I have the next 3 days off after tomorrow for recovery......
My moms been put to sleep by him and she says they give some gass to calm you down and then iv you to sleep.......
Remember,Its not just pulling teeth,Its CUTTING OUT 6 Teeth from DEEP under the gum, Taking 1 out thats partially under the gum and taking one out thats fully out of the gum........
Yeah.....But he's like the best oral surgeon in my town and everyone SWEARS by him so its no biggie.
