Wow Dave, huge opportunity I reckon!!
What kind/type of playlist do you work with in a setting like that? Can you do any ad-lib stuff, or on the spot requests? Stuff like that.
Is it tough to play for a transient crowd? People milling around and whatnot.... Or, do they try to get the shows set up for seating/viewing by a stable audience?

Mike, I have all kinds of playlists with all kinds of music ... I, personally, prefer a lot of 80's shit ... It's playable, people like it, and people know it ...
I can do on-the-spot requests, however, and do ... But I try and stick to my "game" ...

I'll tell you what; I'll leave the chatroom up when I'm broadcasting for requests as well ...
Ok, here's how "Day 1" went: I got there, and someone fucked up their days and took the stage down (for next wknd) a day early; not a big deal ... I performed sans stage from 2:30pm (when we figured out how to get around this) until 7:00PM, DJ'ed some music, did a 3 song encore, then got bonbarded with requests which took me to 9:30PM ... I'm gonna ask them eventually if they want to to start later and end later ...
MEANWHILE, I wasn't gonna do the Florida/Georgia weekend (whe biggest weekend in most of Florida since it's played here at AllTel stadium; almost as big as the Super Bowl was), however, I was offered, uhm, well ... for Fri-Sunday ... Nevermind, it's a good offer ...
The best part is I'd be headlining yet again (for 3 days/nights), AND, I'd pretty much be one of the head stars of The Florida/Georgia weekend ... This is a NATIONAL event ...
Downside, is it's 32hrs of crowds, jamming, singing, dj'ing, and me just being a total asswipe to people for cash (all upon different schedules; save Sunday, The "Dave Live Show", well, except for the being an asswipe part) ... Most of which I'll try and broadcast, btw ...
Anyway, that's whats up; in fact, I'm calling for the last minute specifics .... uhm, NOW!
