okay...i don't entirely know why the fuck i decided to go to this thing, but there was a christmas party hosted at a nearby bowling alley, hosted by the company i work for.
my ex-girlfriend (of about 5 weeks) just came up; she and her mother was how i got my job in the first place so soon after getting fired. they were both there, and her mother (also one of my bosses) was convinced this was going to be a problem.

i dont think anyone should have to do introductions with their current girl, ex-girl, and her family. talk about the height of awkwardness.
she did give me a 1 gig flash drive tho - will be good for my nintendo wii once they support one - but my ariel (my girlfriend) seemed kind of off about the whole thing. i kind of felt bad.
now my best friend was hitting on katie (my ex) a little, since she's a 'free pussy'. anything not nailed down is fair game to him, best friend be damned. wouldn't be wrong to punch him in the face for it if he tries.
there wasnt any awkwardness between me and katie, tho, thank god, tho i got plenty of looks from people who couldn't figure out why a new girl's hanging on my arm
wtf is with workplace bullshit? its a workplace. i come to this place to work. drama can wait.
so yeah. im not sure why i decided to do this, or exactly what i was expecting, but it was pretty fucked up hanging out with my ex so soon with a new (and better) girl on my arm. hopefully i wont have to be reminded about this again.
and my ex wants to go drinking one of these days...im smart enough not to.
