im really sorry to hear about that... i hope you dont lose your job... your a good person. the judge will see that and let you off with a fine. just try, TRY to stay somewhat positive. it was a mistake, and you had a long day. everyone makes mistakes. nobody's perfect.
This is why Wal-Mart here has a rule of "no compliance". Which is simply card every person. No matter their age. Anything that that ATF regulates and sends in kids to try to buy, card them all. From the greatest old grandpappy down to the child. And if you aren't willing to "comply" with their rule, you don't need a job. *LOL*
Underage alcohol sales net arrests By HEATHER SCOFIELD Staff Writer
PALM COAST -- Seven grocery store, convenience store and restaurant employees will have to appear in court soon for failing to ask for identification when selling alcohol products in Flagler County.
An undercover operation by the Flagler County Sheriff's Office netted seven arrests June 30 for the sale of alcohol to minors. Sheriff's detectives and Bunnell Police took to the streets, visiting almost 40 stores to see if clerks would take the underage bait.
The clerks cited could face fines up to $1,000 each. The stores they work for could pay fines up to $1,000 and a seven-day liquor license suspension if it's their first violation. Fines could increase to $3,000 on the second offense and the business could have the license suspended up to 30 days. On the third offense, stores risk total revocation of their liquor license.
