I don't know why a band like Clutch, which only dabbles in metal on an occasional song, would be on there. Same for a band like Queens of the Stone Age - kind of metal sometimes when they feel like being metal.
Amorphis really sticks out, too, because what they play now isn't really metal even thought they used to be really metal. Now, they have some metal elements but their songwriting is more progressive.
Both are terrible, but for some reason, they've all been blazing a trail down here after the big Motley Crue/Motorhead show last year. We've had Motorhead (again), GnR, Napalm Death, and some other really old bands.
The babes, hahaha, they'll all be my age, barely squeezing into their decaying spandex, stretchmarks under their arms, and looking less than fresh.
Should be a riot. But I have a ticket to the Iron Maiden shows next Feb.
