How many of you, Christian, catholic, gnostic, atheist, pagan, Muslim or jew have or have not put up a christmas tree? If so - Testify as to why. My response will come after yours.

I have not, only because I can't stomach to go through the boxes of ornaments that my ex and I bought. Next year I'll be stronger

I did and I despise Xmas and all Xmas-related functions. But I have a child in my house and won't deprive her of it, no matter my personal feelings toward her.

So I guess I'm not really an asshole. But we all have aspirations.

No tree. Still staying in sister's spare bedroom because renting an apartment is too much commitment for me.

If I ever do put up a tree, I'll probably just leave it up yar round.

No tree indoors. We have a nice decorated one outside though! Lazyness and unwillingness to kill trees is the reason.
