Show me in your first message exactly where you were talking about checkpoints. A run-on sentence about how you can't ride a bike right now is not the same as volunteering to help with the race.
We've got enough people to help out with the first race. Keep checking the Tour Da Chicago Myspace for opportunities to volunteer (or race, if you heal in time). Maybe the folks organizing the other stages wont be fucking lame shit stains.
