It's right there in his avatar. He's sucking in his gut so he looks manlier for her. And he's got a lot of beer for her so she doesn't notice when he lets his breath out later on.
For as many relationships and quickies as our little group has fostered over the years (and servers), I can't remember one starting so bluntly and publicly. Can't you two at least cyber in a private IRC channel a couple of times first?
