Remember the thread? Remember the video? Well I'd just like to say, "Welcome to the club Great Britain!"
LONDON (AFP) - Britons are losing their grip on reality, according to a poll out Monday which showed that nearly a quarter think Winston Churchill was a myth while the majority reckon Sherlock Holmes was real.
The survey found that 47 percent thought the 12th century English king Richard the Lionheart was a myth.
And 23 percent thought World War II prime minister Churchill was made up. The same percentage thought Crimean War nurse Florence Nightingale did not actually exist.
Three percent thought Charles Dickens, one of Britain's most famous writers, is a work of fiction himself.
Indian political leader Mahatma Gandhi and Battle of Waterloo victor the Duke of Wellington also appeared in the top 10 of people thought to be myths.
Meanwhile, 58 percent thought Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's fictional detective Holmes actually existed; 33 percent thought the same of W. E. Johns' fictional pilot and adventurer Biggles.

I really really hope that's not true. I, as an American, could understand such a poll here because the average legal citizen here is as bright as a box of charcoal rocks. I will save the rest of my comments for my dissertation which is yet to come. Till - then -
Charcoal being comprised of organic material can't actually be considered rocks. There could be an argument for coal since there is still some controversy-among dumbasses-as to the origin of coal and oil.
Perhaps "charcoal brickets" would have been a more appropriate term?
Dude, dont you know that God put all the oil and coal there 6000 years ago, when man and Tyrannosaurus Rex lived in peaceful harmony? Dont you know that the Flinstones is a documentary of those blissful times?
Done and done. At least three time a week since the wifie moved across the street. Completely amicable, everything is much better now. Still straight and sober but I do sip a little 21 year old single malt Glenfiddich once and a while.
I guess you must still be registered with the American Nazi Party. Well, good luck with that.
wait... this is someone who knows me... Give me a hint, huh? Jess? No wait... IT'S MIKEY!
Where ya been, man? At least you're not drinking cheap NY wine in a box anymore but are you still picking up fat, horny housefraus at the Safeway?
