Not that I really give a flying fuck but just what the fuck happened to my alias?

If people weren't to be allowed the option then it shouldn't have been a fucking option in the first place. Since it was an option when I registered and in the absence of any other technical problems with the board then whomever decided to remove said option after the fact can suck my ass.

Mike we dont delete userids here... we do ban some spammers. All I can think of is that your alias has gotten fucked up last time the board had problems.

I'm sorry this has happened, but if its any consolation, I like seeing the name Tru around the board.

<-- Not an Admin - but why would you need an alias on this board? And Thrash - make it 23 logins - would make more since for the conspiracy.

I know all that , this is the Tru account, it's the only account I have here. But Mosh, you for one know I was posting with the name Ethos Chaos. Now those previous posts have the Tru name on them. See? The board gave an option when I registered to register using one name on the account but assign a different username to appear on posts. When I logged in I always used Tru but when I posted the board used Ethos Chaos. That was the option I chose and the usernam all of the posts on the other thread I posted on were originally listed under.
Now they have reverted.

I suspected the change was because some people didn't catch on right away and once clued in someone decided to turn that option off for the board. I didn't change my profile or posting options between then and now so I have to assume it was an intentional tweak of the board itself.

Tho I concede it may have been unintentional as well or simply a failure of the board code in some respect.

Like I said I don't really care but it's irritating because I wanted to go ahead and register with the Tru name so that Thrash at least could know it was me all along, but I didn't really want to post with that name here. I'm getting tired of it. That was an interesting feature that I was taking advantage of and now it has evaporated.

Hey Tru! What's up man? Obama v Clinton!!

A lot of people are still making a big noise about Ron Paul, mostly because of the viral marketing that is being conducted over the internet. I like much of what he says and agree with him in many areas but personally I don't think he has a chance and as with Nader in previous elections, all votes for Ron Paul are going to end up being votes for McCain. It's not fair I know but it's a simple fact.

Now to address your question a bit more directly, as I stated in my first post here as Ethos I'm currently pushing Obama. I have some reservations about the man, he appeared on the circuit a little too quickly and rose to the top contender position a little too conveniently. But if you remember some of my previous posts at LG it's my opinion that the Clinton's were co-conspirators in Bills impeachment. I think the entire thing was staged to help make sure monkey boy could be installed. The national surplus Bill supposedly amassed during his tenure I don't believe was for the good of the country, but to assure that there was a ready pile of cash in the National Treasury for chimp ass and his cronies to loot from this nation. This reserve was used to promote global conflict but also to line the deep pockets of good Ol boys. While most people consider the looting of California by one of the bush's closest friends to be a simple corporate greed issue, I believe that a good deal of that money was actually used to finance 9/11.

That's just my opinion, I can provide no proof.

But for those reasons and because there really is no viable alternatives I'm backing Obama.
In the last election I tried to get people to vote for John Kerry. Not because I liked him all that much and despite the fact that he and bush are both members of the same S&B fraternity, but because we already knew at that point that bush was a lying asshole and part of a an, excuse the term here, "cabal" dedicated to looting this nation through promotion of global conflict. In that situation it is always going to be best to try to shake things up even if it is only a vote for the perceived "lesser of two evils."

I feel quite a bit better about Obama than I did about Kerry. As I mentioned I do have some reservations but I'm hoping that even if he does have obligations to the powers, that once elected he will prove hard for them to control.

LOL, well I guess the option is still available in settings but I didn't change it to Tru!

Could this be a cookie issue? I had deleted all my cookies at one point.

Btw

"I like seeing the name Tru around the board."

Aww thanks, maybe I'll put it back. I don't post much here anyway .

When I was in settings just now I entered the alias twice but the box reverted to displaying Tru both times, however when I returned to the board it was changed? Just one of those things I suppose.

Oh and Trash, I like the layout here pretty well. Nice attention to details on this theme.

Thanks, and, yeah, I think it was a corrupted cookie ...
I had that happen here once with "Dave" vs "Thrash" in the login name and handle ...

I recompiled all the user accounts ...

If nothing else, the rhetoric coming out of Hillary's mouth vs. what both she and Bill did while he was in office should be enough to dissuade anyone from voting for her.

Obama's foreign policy advisor and one of his major supporters is Zbigniew Brzezinski.

I have nothing more to say on this matter.

Well that might be disturbing and should be looked into. I did a quick search and Brzezinski is solidly behind Obama but I haven't found an article yet explaining Obama's opinion of Brzezinski.

I'm sure it was something silly. I'm using a new Toshiba notebook and I'm still getting used to it.
The timing of it right after I posted a couple of times just seemed odd. No problem, don't give it another thought.
Thanks.
